Chad Robert Hartsfield, 31, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. He moved to Louisville and began his own lighting production company, Trifecta Event Productions. Chad was driven for success and had a deep appreciation for art, nature, and the change of seasons. He had countless hobbies and interests, that included collecting unique and unusual things, hiking, hunting, fishing, a wide variety of music, and a love for hot sauce.
He was committed to his family and was a devoted dad and stepdad to his daughters. Chad always looked out for others and was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. He will be deeply missed.
Chad was born on June 29, 1991, in Tallahassee, Florida. Chad is survived by his wife, Megan (Corum) Hartsfield; daughters, Isabella Hartsfield and Bridget Malinek; parents, Robby Hartsfield (Debbie) and Barbara Hartsfield; sister, Samantha Jahnke (Matt); nieces, Olivia and Claire Jahnke; grandparents, Jerry Beaulieu and Martha Hartsfield; close cousin that he considered a brother, Michael Beaulieu (Carlee); and many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete Hartsfield and Nancy Beaulieu.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 10:00 a.m. A celebration of Chad's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.
Chad's services will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
