Cecilia Klar
KLAR, CECILIA ELIZABETH DRIES, 91, died peacefully in her sleep November 11, 2010.
A native of Louisville, she was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Margaret Dries; her brothers, Edward, Albert, John, Robert and Elmer Dries; and her sister Mary Dries (Sister Joanita OSU).
Survivors include her three sons, Fred Klar of St. Louis, MO (Karen), Lawrence Klar of Louisville, Jim Klar of Cleveland OH (Becky); her five daughters, Sharon Miller, Sue Ann Metcalf, Martha Nett (David), Christine Klar, all of Louisville and Mary Moll of Lexington, KY; along with 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Middletown, KY. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday November 19, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3934 Poplar Level Road in Louisville.
Interment will be 1:00 pm Saturday, December 18, 2010 in St. Michael's Cemetery.
