Cecil James Rainbolt, 65, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a faithful member at the American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville. He loved to cook, especially his famous cheesecakes. Jimmy enjoyed boating at Patoka Lake in his free time.
He was born on April 7, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Orman and Vivian Prince Rainbolt.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Lori Rainbolt; daughters, Jill (Sam) Alvey and Jennifer (Michael Scott) Shewmaker; brother, Mike (Samantha) Rainbolt; sister, Lisa (Bob Green) Walling; grandchildren, Gracie, Addie, Elliott, Michael, Jr., and Malakai; nephew, Aaron (Heather) Frazier; and niece, Amy (TJ Wilbert) Frazier.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at the American Legion Post 35 (801 Main St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
