Catherine Ott
Catherine Opal Ott, 90, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Catherine was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany. She retired from PSI of Clarksville after many years and was a devoted wife and mother.
Catherine was born on July 22, 1920 in Clark County to the late Joseph and Mary Schubnell. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Ball and Robert Ott.
She is survived by her son, Richard Ball and his wife, Wanda, of Clarksville, Indiana; daughters, Shirley Bott and her husband, Herman and Sharon Wimp and her husband James, all of Lake Placid, Florida; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Her Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). The Funeral Service is at 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Sellersburg Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to VistaCare (391 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
