French, Catherine M., born May 6, 1924 to Virgil F. and Alma M. Horine. She was a retired executive secretary from Stock Yards Bank & Trust Co., a former volunteer for Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and Jewish Hospital,and a member of St. James Church since 1946.
Katie is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles A. French Jr. and son, Michael C. French; her parents and two brothers. She is survived by son, Stephan D. French (Tessy); and grandson, Nathan S. French (Lauren); brother, Charles E. Horine; sisters, Alice L. Molsberger and Norma J. Cissell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral ceremony will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October, 2, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service. Private burial will be at a later time.
