Catherine Regina Cross

Catherine Regina Cross, age 87 passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Catherine graduated from Ursuline Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired from the American Printing House for the Blind. She met the love of her life in high school and they married in September of 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Cross, Sr.; sons, Robert W. Cross, Jr. and William M. Cross.; and her parents, Edward and Alberta McDougall.

Catherine is survived by her loving children, Lawrence J. Cross (Lonnie), Stephen A. Cross, Sr. (Randi), Marquetta C. Cross and Susan M. Newland (Donald); 7 grandchildren, Angela M Sutherland (Bill), Robert W. Cross, III (Mary-Dawn), Traci R. Cross, Stephen A. Cross, Jr. (Krista), Joseph W. Cross, April J. Cross; Brandy J. Woods; 8 great-grandchildren, Noah, Micah, Savannah, Robbie IV, Ryan, Andre, Malakai and Joscelyn; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 and from 9 to 11am on Thursday, December 21st. A celebration of Catherine's life at the funeral home at 11am on Thursday, December 21st with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
