Catherine Carter (Scott), 89, of Louisville, KY, passed away May 17, 2012.
Originally from Jeffersonville, IN, she was a homemaker, avid gardener and loved all things in nature. She retired from Jewish Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernie Earl Carter and four siblings.
Her survivors include son Ron Carter; daughter, Karen Palmer (Erroll); granddaughter, Lisa Bowman; great-grandsons, Dalton and Dale.
Funeral ceremony will be Monday May 21, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr., 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 am -6:00 pm at the funeral home.
A special thanks to friends, Sue Smith & family, Sherry Marxen, Sandy Lehr and Laverne Avery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
