Cassie Dawn O'Brien

Cassie Dawn (Lynn) O'Brien, age 58 of Simpsonville, KY passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Cassie was a loving mother and devoted wife. Her dedication to her children and grandchildren was obvious to anyone who knew her. She enjoyed our vacations to Lake Kentucky over the summers. Especially enjoyed our trips out on the lake in the pontoon boat. While living in Florida prior to moving to Kentucky, she enjoyed our weekends at the gulf with our jet ski. This year would have been our 40th wedding anniversary. We spent two thirds of our lives together and were looking forward to more years to follow. Her absence will leave a hole in our hearts for a long time.

Cassie is survived by her husband, (David); our two children, Sean and Garry; and our two grandchildren, Lilly and Connor; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Cassie's life at 12pm. Entombment will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
