Cassaundra Antoinette Moore, a devoted wife, mother, g-ma, sister, and friend departed this life on January 24th, 2023 at the age of 50.
Cassaundra was born on February 14th, 1972 at Bethseda Hospital in Cincinnati , Ohio to the late Auguster and Barabra Roberts. She dedicated her life to Christ at Calvary United Methodist Church, and moved to Louisville, KY to live with her family.
She attended Eastern High School where she was involved in dance, and served as the girls basketball team manager. She was a member of the distinguished Minority Scholars program for her outstanding academic achievements. Cassaundra was known by her peers for her spunky style and lively personality. She graduated with honors in 1990, and continued on to pursue higher education. Along her journey she birthed three children and combined her family with her high school sweetheart.
Cassaundra served as faithful trustee at Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center. When the music got good, she was known for coming out of that trustee room, and giving God her best praise!! She was an advocate for domestic violence survivors, and she participated in community events for breast cancer awareness. She Embellished in the passion of creative works toward painting and photography, and her love for jazz music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and buying noisy toys to annoy their parents.
Cassaundra Antoinette Moore is proceeded in death by her niece Tieondra Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Kevin Moore; brother, Michael (Angela) Roberts; children Courtney, Dominique , Kierra, Tya (Austin), Jalen, and Kaliah (Stephen); nephew , Michael Roberts Jr.; eight grandchildren and two great-nephews. She is also survived by a host of cousins, friends, and all the pepsi in the world (if you know you know!!)
Cassaundra will be truly missed. Everyone that loves her knows her heart was bigger than life. A true heart of a servant she had, and God desired his servant back. No more pain. No more suffering. She fought like the true champion she is. We thank the Lord for lending us Cassaundra. This is not goodbye, but see you later.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center (324 E Broadway). A service to celebrate her life will be held the next day at 11:00 am at the church with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
