Cassandra Jean (Corwin) Lemon

Cassandra Jean Lemon, also known by her maiden name Cassandra Jean Corwin, passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 52, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on August 13, 1971, in Flint, Michigan, Cassandra was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School where she also was a cheerleader. Cassandra was an all-around caregiver, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warm presence would light up any room she entered, and her ability to strike up conversations with anyone and everyone was truly remarkable. Even during times when she didn't feel her best, Cassandra would go above and beyond to put a smile on her children's faces, demonstrating her unwavering love and dedication as a mother. In her free time, Cassandra enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She had a passion for gymnastics, dancing, figure skating, cheerleading, and singing. These activities brought her joy and allowed her to express herself creatively. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Corwin.

Cassandra is survived by her loving children, Russell Lemon, Josie Lemon, Trey Lemon, and Nick Rogers. Cassandra also leaves behind her father, Russell Corwin; her sisters, Katrina Kinney and Michelle Rayfield; and her brother, Andrew Corwin. She is also survived by her ex husband, Matthew Lemon; and a host of relatives and friends.

Cassandra's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

In honor of Cassandra's life, a private ceremony will be held for immediate family and close friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
