Carrol Dean Heuser

Carrol Heuser, 79, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Carrol loved line dancing and went weekly to dance with her friends. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling. Above all, Carrol was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born on June 25, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to Allen and Maxine (Moore) Phipps. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Diane Lowman; and her faithful companions, Puddles & Megan.

Carrol is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa (Ron) Feaster and Tamara (Mike) Emerson; brothers, Jerry (Mickie) Phipps and Rick (Sandy) Phipps; grandchildren, Brittney (Chad) Wright, Eric (Celia) Striegel, Brooke (Nick) Heuser, and Brianna Rogers; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Carrol's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association (6100 Dutchmans Ln # 401, Louisville, KY 40205).
