Carrie Elizabeth Hornback

Carrie Elizabeth Hornback, 41 of Louisville, KY, passed on December 23, 2023 surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.

Carrie was born on March 29, 1982 in Hutchinson County, TX to Carol Ann Storm. She graduated from Borger High School in 2000 and went on to earn her Master's Degree from the University of Louisville in 2018. Carrie was a social worker at Seven Counties Services.

Carrie married Michael Hornback on June 9, 2003 in Seoul Korea. Carrie's biggest joy was spending time with her family. She was very spiritual and enjoyed hiking at Fort Duffield. She loved collecting crystals and her little dog, Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother, Carol Ann Storm.

Carrie is survived by her loving husband, Mike; sons, Kaleb and Chase Hornback; sister, Amanda (Ken) Osborne; niece, Zayne Osborne; nephew, Gus Osborne of Long Beach, MS; father and mother-in-law, Shane and Deborah Hornback and brother in law, Eric Hornback all of Louisville, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2023, from 3pm-8pm with a celebration of Carrie's life beginning at 6pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Gilda's Club of Louisville would be appreciated.
