Carolyn Jane Parrott

Carolyn Jane Parrott, age 85 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 9, 2024. Carolyn was retired and formally worked in hospitality with Caesars Entertainment, Inc., the Galt House and Leftfield. She enjoyed cooking, reading her Bible daily and helping with her fur babies, Metro and Sara. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gale Yvonne Weilage; and her parents, Ruben and Naomi Trammell.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Donald Trammell; children, Chena and Michael Weilage and Steven Parrott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Visitation will be 10am to 12pm on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held there on Monday at Noon, followed by burial in Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
