Carolyn K. Johnson, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
She was born on July 11, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky to Theodore and Viola Kinberger. Carolyn graduated from Atherton High School in 1946. She was a longtime member of Southeast Christian Church and was the owner of Miss Carol's Day Care.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Logan Johnson, Sr.; her parents, Theodore and Viola Kinberger.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Charles Logan Johnson , Jr. (Lynda); daughters, Bonnie Tosh (Dwight), Hope Johnson Proctor (Gary), Faith Killinder, and Joy Hagan (Mike); grandchildren, Kellly Lewis (Jim), Adam Johnson (Kelsey), Michael Tosh (Rochelle), Brian Tosh (Jan), John Killinder (Ashley), Timothy Killinder (Misty), Matthew Killinder (Tiffany), David Hagan (Fei) and Sarah Moore (Tym); numerous great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, December, 5, 2022 at Southeast Christian Churches Chapel in the Woods (1407 Moser Road). Her Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm on Monday at the chapel with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
The family requests that contributions in Carolyn's memory be made to Southeast Christian Church.
