Carolyn Jean Gnau

September 14, 1955 — May 1, 2013

Carolyn Jean Gnau 57, passed away May 1, 2013 into the arms of her Heavenly Father with her loving family by her side. She was employed by Humana and was a Team Leader. Carol loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed scrapbooking and Pinterest in her spare time. She adored her two cats; Mister & Holly Berry.

She was a graduate from Waggener High School of Louisville, KY in 1973.

She is survived by her loving husband Joseph P. Gnau of 31 years, her two sons; Aaron Patrick Lee Gnau and Christopher Daniel Willard, her parents; Leroy Kitchel and Laquita Kitchel(and her biological mother Mary Ellen Sigler), her siblings; Charla Napier, Pamela Smith, Robert Kitchel and Cindy Carmichael.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Middletown, on Friday May 3rd from 4-8pm and on Saturday May 4th from 9-11am with the service to follow. Burial service will be afterwards at Floydsburg Cemetery at Duncan Memorial.
