Carolyn Sue Huth

Carolyn Sue Huth, 85, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023. Carolyn was a proud member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and Womens Auxillery of Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed going to Bunco Club and seeing her friends, visiting covered bridges, her dog Cosmo, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was born on March 31, 1938 in New Albany , Indiana to the late Arthur and Nelia (Mather) Jerrell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Myron Huth; daughter, Dora LaDuke; and sister, Patty Gullett.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Mark (Jenny) Huth, Lisa Montgomery, and Myra Huls; brother, Charles (Janice) Jerrell; son-in-law, Casey LaDuke; grandchildren, Emily (Adam) Broderick, Tabitha (Michael Baker) Forman, Kristy (Brad) Hartfield, Hayley Montgomery, Bruce (Christina) Dowell, Robin (Mira) Dowell, and Sydney (Curtis Applebaum) LaDuke; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Carolyn's memory be made to St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or Lafayette Township Fire Protection District.
