Carolyn Harvey

Carolyn W. (Byrd) Harvey, 66, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on March 27, 2014. She was devoted to her family and was an avid BINGO player.

She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Proffitt (James), Shannon Snelling (Mark); son, Chris Harvey (Leann); grandchildren, Carra, Kristen, Kelsea, Courtney, Brayden, and Sofiah, great-grandchildren, Bristal & Kamden; sisters, Martha Wagner (Don); Sue Rhea, Pam Ballew; brothers, Roger Byrd & Rondall Byrd; step-father, Ray Measles; brother-in-law, Mike Harvey.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Harvey; mother, Elizabeth (Coomer) Measles; sister, Barbara Lindsey; brother, Wayne Byrd; and grandchildren, Braylon and Brycen Shears.

Visitation will be from 12 to 8 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
