Carolyn Sue Copeland, 77, of Louisville, passed away on December 18th, 2022.
She was born on May 2nd, 1945 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Minerva Copeland. Carolyn received her bachelors degree from Kentucky State University and her masters degree from Indiana University. She was member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Carolyn was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Gary Public School System in Gary, Indiana for 28 years and 1 year in Lexington, Kentucky.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Candace Holt; and two special friends, Lurl Shutkin-White and Margaret Hymes.
Per Carolyn's wishes cremation was chosen and no public services will be held.
