Carolyn A. Collins, 78, of La Grange, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
She was born on December 2, 1945 to the late Jim and Marilyn (Fuller) Shroyer. Carolyn worked as a Real Estate Agent and most recently as a School Bus Attendant for Oldham County Schools. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in La Grange.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Collins; son, Brian C. Stephens, her parents, Jim and Marilyn Shroyer.
Carolyn is survived by her sons, James R. Stephens, Eric Stephens, and Christopher T. Stephens; grandsons, Aiden Stephens and Daniel Stephens; and cousin, Barbara Seeley.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Her Memorial Service will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Following the service the family invites friends to join them for food and refreshments in the funeral home's Garden Room until 8:00 pm.
