Carolyn Jane Collins, 80, of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Carolyn loved to be outdoors, go on walks, and bird watch. She had 2 beloved cats. Carolyn was an avid gardener. Carolyn's church was very important to her, she sang in the choir and loved her church family. Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. Carolyn will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She was born on November 19, 1943 in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to Ray and Jennie Cassity. She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Cassity, mother, Jennie Cassity, and her brothers, Bobby Cassity, and Ronnie Cassity.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Marty (Elesa) Dadisman, daughter, Stacey (Jeff) Wilson, sisters, Ann Carter, and Sandy Cassity, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Carolyn is also survived by a loving host of friends and family.
Carolyn's celebration of life will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive).
