Carolyn L. Brown

Carolyn L. Brown, 81, of Leavenworth, Indiana, formerly of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Carolyn was an LPN and worked at General Hospital, and did Private Care for terminal patients. She was a loving and devoted mother and nurse to all of her patients. She was a great neighbor and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born on January 10, 1940 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to Lucian and Lucille (Brown) Cottrell. She is preceded in death by her Parents.

Carolyn is survived by her Sons, Gerald Burt, and Adrian Davis, Brother, Eddie (Helen) Jackson, Niece, Rhonda Glenn. Carolyn also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
