Carolyn M. (Hess) Brooks, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 16, 2017. She retired as an Accountant from Brown and Williamson. She loved working in her flower gardens, crafts, and bowling.
Carolyn was born on April 28, 1943, in Louisville, Ky to the late Edward and Evelyn (Howell) Hess.
Carolyn is survived by her Husband of 59 years, Mr. Truman H. Brooks; children, Tony Brooks (Kathleen), Sherry Arnold, Gerry Brooks (Teresa), Laura Becker (Fred); 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cove Hollow Cemetery (4098 Nolin Dam Rd. Mammoth Cave, KY 42259).
