Carolyn Jean Baxley, 85, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was born on January 31, 1938 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Baxley; mother, Maxine Bartlett Johnson; sons, William Michael Foley and Matthew Clinton Wright; and brother, David Nance.
Carol is survived by her children, April (Kenneth) Wilson, Robin Wright, and Cathy Fox; brother, Jerry Nance; grandchildren, William (Jamie) Byrd, Jeannie (Dean) Lyninger, Brent Byrd, Brian Byrd, Kevin Foley, Kyle Foley, Katie Foley; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dean Lyninger for always putting a smile on Carol's face.
Cremation was chosen following Carol's wishes.
