Carole (Kuester) St. John

Carole (Kuester) St. John, 79, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022. She retired after 30 years in the classroom at Salem Middle School. Carole was an active member of the Floyd County Historical Society and PEO International. She enjoyed painting and gardening and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons.

She was born on May 14, 1943, in Fort Branch, Indiana, to Earl and Marie (Sollman) Kuester. Carole is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert St. John; children, Melissa, David (Angela Sarrazine), and Daniel St. John (Britnie); grandchildren, Braedon and Cameron St. John; sister, Marlene Versteeg (Eldon); and sister-in-law, Suzanne Tyler (Clark).

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 4:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately at St. Lucas Church Cemetery in Fort Branch, Indiana.
