Carol Evelyn (Ball) Smith, 59, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014. Carol loved; watching movies, shopping and playing bingo.
Carol was born on August 27, 1954 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Woodrow and Laura Jane (Wells) Ball. Carol is also preceded in death by her son Benjamin Underwood.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Curtis Smith; son, Scott Underwood; daughters, Melissa Chrusciel (Christopher), Bonnie Seger (Wayne), Jenny Friedman; siblings, Sharon Smith, Gail Shock, Woodrow "Tiny" Ball (Nancy), Darlene Shouse; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hardinsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd Louisville, KY. 40203).
