Carol Sue Ratmiroff

Carol Sue Ratmiroff, age 72 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Carol was born on July 23, 1951 to Clifford Cole and Angelica Ruz in Port Isabel, Texas. Carol graduated from Brownsville High School in 1968. In 1971 she married and in 1972 she moved to Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from Sullivan College in 1987 with an Associates in Business, she worked at Boland Maloney Lumber Company. In 1999, Carol moved to Winston-Salem, NC and worked at Wells Fargo. In 2002, Carol moved back to Louisville and worked at the Special Olympics of KY until her retirement in 2005. In 2004, Carol married Sergio Ratmiroff in Louisville, Kentucky in a private home ceremony on New Year's Eve. She enjoyed playing bridge at the Louisville Bridge Center, puzzles and games, Jazzercise, gardening, travelling with her daughter, and her kitties.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Sergio Ratmiroff; her daughter, Julie Cole; son, John Baumbeck; her grandson, Austin Baumbeck; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky, with a celebration of Carol's life there at 12pm. Burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
