Carol Marie (Daily) Thien, 73, of Pekin, Indiana, entered into eternal glory on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Carol was born on August 27, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Lula (Kipp) Daily and the late William T. Daily, Sr. She retired as a cosmetician from Walgreens in New Albany, Indiana.
In addition to her mother, Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Carl Thien; brother, William T. Daily, Jr., (Brenda); sister, Beverly Niemeier (Deacon William); along with a host of nieces, nephews, many friends and family.
Her Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). Her Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (701 West Muhammad Ali Boulevard, Louisville, KY 40203).
