Carol Lynn Herhold

Carol Lynn Herhold, age 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a contagious smile that was brightest when spending time with her beloved eight grandchildren. Carol had a passion for over the top creative projects and reading. She will be remembered by friends and family for her selflessness and ability to put those around her at ease.

She was born March 20, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Richard and Jannet Strobel.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Michael Herhold; children, Michelle (Charles) Daniel, Laurie (Robert) Swoboda and Steven (Laura) Herhold; grandchildren, Charles Daniel, Griffin Daniel, Alexander Daniel, Regan Swoboda, Peyton Swoboda, Vanessa Herhold, Courtney Herhold and Rebecca Herhold.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, 40243). Her funeral service and mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Parish (5503 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40291) with internment to follow at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40205).
