Carol Walton Crum's life began on March 20, 1953 to her late parents Lawrence and Wilma Walton in Louisville, Kentucky. God sent his angel on April, 8 2024, Carol entered her eternal resting place.
Carol received her education in Jefferson County, where she attended Central High School and graduated from Ahrens Traditional School. She went on to complete her degree from Grant Career Institute as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Technician. She had a knack for helping others and worked with patients for over 25yrs.
Carol accepted Christ at an early age, she was a member of and grew up in Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church where she attended until her health declined. There is no doubt Carol loved the Lord, she made it her mission to read her bible, pray, get closer to God, and live by his word.
Carol had an infectious smile and never met a stranger. Carol had a passion for basketball and could debate stats with some of the best. She enjoyed going to games and loved traveling. Carol's favorite pastime was enjoying quality time with her children and grandkids and will be deeply missed.
Carol joins her parents, her brothers, Lawrence, Jerry and Kenny Walton; her granddaughter, Alexis Dawson; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends in heaven.
Carol had an endless love for her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her family and friends. To know her was to love her.
Her beautiful life and memory will forever be cherished in the lives of husband, Eddie Crum; son, Adrian Dawson; daughters, Deidra (David), Jocelyn and Benita; brother, Dwight Walton; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 1pm-2pm at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, 3640 Cane Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40211, with a celebration of Carol's life beginning at 2pm.
