Carol Elizabeth Beyrodt

Carol Elizabeth Beyrodt, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. Carol was a member of the Sts, Mary and Elizabeth Auxiliary and dedicated over 40 years of service at the hospital as a faithful volunteer. She was also a member of The American Legion Auxiliary with her loving husband for many years. She was devoted to her faith and attended church regularly. She loved spending time with her family and dogs, going to Lake Cumberland, and watching her favorite sports teams and TV shows.

She was born on March 25, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Elmer and Ruth (Heck) Crisp. She is preceded in death by her Father, Elmer Crisp, Mother, Ruth Crisp, Children, Sharon Burch, Diane Emerson, Sister, Angela Ryan, Nephew, David Ryan, and Niece, Lisa Ryan.

Carol is survived by her loving Husband of 66 years, Jack A. Beyrodt; Grandchildren, Shannon (Marvin) Browning, Amber (Ethan) Moore, Daniel Emerson, Russell (Brittany) Emerson, and Shaun Burch; Great-Grandchildren, Alissa, Hailey, Claire, Collins, and Kimble.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Lynnhurst United Church of Christ, (4401 Taylor Boulevard). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Lynnhurst United Church of Christ with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Carol's memory be made to Local Humane Society or Louisville Hosparus.
