Carmen Salas Rodriguez De Nuã±Ez

Carmen Salas Rodriguez de Nuñez, age 77 passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014. A native of Arequipa,Peru, she was born June 13, 1936. She attended the musical conservatory in Arequipa where she learned to play the piano. She had a strong faith in God and loved her family very much. She was a 5 year cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her husband Rufino E. Nuñez.

Mrs. Salas is survived by her loving children, Carlos Nuñez Salas, Luis Nuñez Salas, Micol Nuñez Salas de Mora, Janet Nuñez Salas de Calderon and Ernesto Nuñez Salas; grandchildren, Betzabe Nuñez Andia, Estefania Nuñez Andia, Katherine Nuñez, Luis Nuñez, John Andre Nuñez, Scarlett Mora, Ivonne Mora, Josue Mora, Akemi Calderon, Naomi Calderon, Jean Pierre Calderon, Alejandra Calderon, Rachel Nuñez, Jean Paul Nuñez, Kassandra Nuñez and Lorena Nuñez; great-grandchildren, Cristina Caseda Nuñez, Rodrigo Caseda Nuñez, Axel and Mia; sister, Clemencia Polar deVela; and brother, Alberto Valenzuela. She is also survived by a host of loving family and friends.

Mass of celebration will be 7pm Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 E Washington St, Louisville, KY 40206.
