Carla M.(Culberson) Green

Green, Carla Michelle Culberson 49, went to meet her Heavenly Father Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Carla was a member of Canaan Christian Church for over ten years and was active in the Library Ministry. She recently joined Burnett Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. Carla was an avid reader, and she shared her love of reading and books with everyone! She was a dedicated Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) teacher of over 20 years. She taught kindergarten at Schaffner Traditional Elementary.

Carla is survived by her loving daughter Aaliyah Denise Green. She was very proud of Aaliyah and her accomplishments. She is also survived by her parents Coyce Sr and Virginia Culberson; brothers Coyce Jr (Victoria) Culberson; Michael (Tina) Culberson, nieces Coyre and Christiane M. Culberson. Carla will be missed by her aunts, uncle, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be 9:30 - 11:30am at Burnett Avenue Baptist Church, 6800 South Hurstborne Parkway, Louisville, Kentucky 40291, with service to follow at 11:30am. Burial will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
