Burley Maloy Hallman

Burley Maloy Hallman, 79, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Butch was a long-time member of Northside Christian Church. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and never passed up a good meal. He dearly loved spending time with his family.

Butch was born on February 28, 1943, in Ashdown, Arkansas, to the late Hop Hallman and LaVerne (Waddell) Cowling. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Janet Lee Hallman.

Butch is survived by his son, Michael (Melissa) Hallman; daughter, Lori Hallman; grandchildren, Shelby Hallman, Addison Hallman, Seth (Destiny) Huls, and Cody Huls; brothers, Walter Cowling and Jimmy (Nancy) Cowling; sister-in-law, Toni Davison; nieces, Danielle (Adam) Harold and Kelly Davison; and nephew, Jeffery (Jackie) Davison.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Butch's wishes.
