Bruce Dale Ferrell, Sr.

Bruce Dale Ferrell, Sr., 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Bruce was a loving father, brother, and family man. He enjoyed putting model cars together and had a love for watches. Bruce was an avid UofL fan and never missed watching a basketball game. Bruce had a love for Elvis and collected Elvis memorabilia. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on September 18, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank and Elnora (Strode) Ferrell. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elnora Ferrell; father, Frank Ferrell; and brothers, Jack Strode and William Ferrell.

Bruce is survived by his loving family, son, Bruce Dale (Stephanie) Ferrell, Jr.; son, Brian (Collette) Ferrell; daughter, Brandi Ferrell; brothers, Everett Ferrell, Raymond Ferrell, Billy Junior (Bobbie Jean) Ferrell, Maxie (Buffy) Ferrell; sisters, Reatha Davis, Hattie (Tony) Riggs, Linda (Ed) Jecker, Bonnie (Timmy) Alford; nine grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
