Bruce Denny Moreton

Mr. Bruce Denny Moreton, age 72 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 with his loving family by his side. He was an insurance adjuster for 32 years with Sentry Insurance Co., was a Navy Veteran, a drag-racing enthusiast, was an amateur ham radio operator, and was a driving instructor for AARP.

Mr. Moreton is survived by his loving wife of 48 plus years, the former Jeanette Patrick; children, Lisa Anne Meyer (Robert) and Heather P. Moreton (Anthony Abounader); brother, Harry Moreton III (Rose); sisters, Susan Lee Birky (Bill), Shelly Ann Daly (Walter); 4 grandchildren, Austin, Stuart, and Zachary Duvall and RJ Abounader.

Funeral ceremony will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with burial to follow in Middletown Cemetery with Navy Military Honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
