Bronwyn Ann Benford
June 24, 1947 — November 5, 2022
Bronwyn Ann (Gish) Benford, known to some as Punkin, 75 passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
She was the only child born to James T. Gish and Peggy F. Gish, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard "Skip" Benford, son Richard Scott Benford Jr. daughter Amy Benford Snider, grandson Reed Benford, granddaughter Irie Snider as well as many cousins and friends who treasured her.
She was a 1965 graduate of Seneca High School in Louisville, KY and lived in Louisville most of her life. She loved to shop, travel and garden however her biggest love was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She started her second childhood when her grandchildren arrived on the scene.
She spent the last 10 years of her life with Parkinson's and dementia. Her pain and suffering are now over as she now dwells in the House of the Lord.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
