Brian Keith Shalosky, born on May 3, 1972, in Cambridge, Ohio, passed away on February 17, 2025. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, whose dedication to service continued through his work in Civil Service, Recruiting, and IT for the Army. Brian exemplified the values of duty, honor, and commitment throughout his life, earning the respect and admiration of those who had the privilege to work alongside him.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Brian cultivated a passion for exploration and adventure. He found joy in the thrill of hunting for treasures with his metal detector, a hobby that allowed him to connect with history while indulging his curiosity. His desire to be on the open road fueled his love for riding motorcycles.
Brian is survived by his devoted wife, Maura Shalosky, and children: Paul Shalosky, Susan Shalosky, Phillip Shalosky, Patrick Shalosky, and Kylie Sell. He was a beloved son to Tanda Shalosky and a cherished brother to Miki Shalosky and Joe (Penny) Shalosky. Brian also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Nick (Megan) Marshall, as well as his niece and nephews: Michael Durall, Jacob Durall, Chelle Soper, Nolan Marshall, and J.D. Marshall; and his faithful canine companions, Duke & Beau.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Shalosky.
Brian's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, whose lives he touched through his unwavering spirit and commitment to service. His memory will be cherished as they go forward, inspired by the values and passions he held dear.
