Brian Glenn Bates
July 21, 1962 — December 11, 2023
Brian Glenn Bates of Brandenburg KY, passed away peacefully on 12/11/2023. He was born and raised in upstate New York. In his early 20's he moved to Louisville KY and later to Brandenburg KY, where he spent his adult life raising a family, perfecting his woodworking skills and remodeling numerous houses. Brian leaves behind his love of woodworking and his devotion to family.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Karista Donahue; mother, Joan Hooten; daughter, Stevi Donahue and his father, Ed Bates.
Brian leaves behind his sister, Tonya (Martin) Madden; brothers, Kevin and Dean (Alma) Bates; his children, Tonya (Anthony) Drumm, James ( Connie Wright) Bates and Brian (Lindsey Beaven) Bates; grandchildren and his Cane Corso, Ivan.
A memorial service for Brian will be held at a later date.
