Brenda Kay (Pollitt) Smith, 54, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020. Brenda loved fishing, animals and nature, being on the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was born on August 9, 1965 in Connersville, Indiana to Harold Pollitt and the late Martha (Crawley) Isaacs. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Smith.
Along with her father, Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kara (Adam) Brewer; siblings, James (Barbara) Pollitt, Troy Anne (Robert) Stoops, Aaron (Grace) Isaacs; and Snowden "Shane" Isaacs; her loving companion, Terry Smith; grandchildren, Tyler Russell, Jacob Brown, and Peyton Russell; and nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 2PM to 2:30 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions-New Albany. Her Memorial Service will follow at 2:30PM on Thursday, at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Brenda's memory be made to Kosair Charities.
