Brenda Lee Simpson, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 13, 2022. She was born on November 1, 1964 to Jack Armstrong and Wanda Tabor.
Brenda was an artist with a passion in pointillism. She became a mother in South Carolina to two beautiful children, Spencer and Amy. As a young mother, she went to school for Graphic Arts and achieved her degree. She was a big animal lover, always having lots of pets. Brenda had a huge heart for her kids and grandkids. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved being their "Gigi". She was a very kind, caring, and loving person.
Brenda is preceded by her parents, Jack Armstrong and Wanda (Jim) Tabor. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Spencer (Heather Gibbs) Simpson (and their upcoming arrival) and Amy (Kevin) Stallings; her grandchildren, Levi Ray Stallings and Easton Jack Stallings; her brother, Eric Armstrong; her significant other, Dennis Thompson, and her four-legged companion, Brandy.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral, & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to the National Fibromyalgia Association (3857 Birch Street, Suite 312, Newport Beach, CA 92660).
