Brenda Ann Martin, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Brenda was funny, tough minded, hard worker, protective, loving, stylish, smart, and resilient. She enjoyed yard sales, playing cards, thrift shopping, sewing, technology, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She was born on June 6, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to James Sullivan and Katie (Grant) Davis. She is preceded in death by her Parents, James Sullivan, Sr. and Katie Davis; Sister, Patricia Martin.
Brenda is survived by her loving family, Children, Teena Saunders, William Martin, Kenneth (Kristie) Martin, and Richard Martin; Grandchildren, Mark Saunders, Alicia Marie, Kelan Martin, Isaiah Martin, Jalil Brown, Kameron Martin, Kennedy Martin, Leland Martin, Sydney Martin, and London Martin; Great-Grandchildren, Makai Saunders, Makaiah Saunders, and Nickalis Wilson; Sisters, Teresa (Robert) Miller, Joyce Cole, and Darlene (Joseph) McNealy; Brothers, Donald Sullivan, Maurice Sullivan, William Cole, and Kenneth Cole, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Home Going Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
