Brenda M. Smith, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
She was born on October 29, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Andrew and Jennie (Irvins) Watkins. She is preceded in death by her Father, Andrew Watkins, Mother, Jennie Cleo Porter, Husband, James Edward Smith, Jr., Siblings, Coss Watkins, Jr., Andrew Watkins, Armenthis Garrison, and Selenor Johnson.
Brenda is survived by her loving Children, William (Sheila) Dale, De'Von (Milton) Wright, Mary (Artamio) Smith, Jean (Greg) Smith, Amanda Smith, Deborah (Bobby) Smith, James (Amanda) Smith,III and Joshua Smith; Grandchildren, Erica (Joshua), Latasha, Lamont, Jervassio (Tiffany), Jermargio (Darian), Christhon, Debreion, Rondrea, Kendrea, Amaya, Jalynne, and James, IV; Great-Grandchildren, Xavier, Malcolm, Sophie, Princeton, Briana, Jaxson, and Isabelle; Brother, Andre (Darlene) Watkins, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Brighter Day Anderson Temple C.O.G.I.C., (1755 E. 8th Street). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, at Brighter Day Anderson Temple C.O.G.I.C. with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
