Brenda Joyce Babcock Shircliff, a beloved figure in her family and community, passed away peacefully at her home on November 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 8, 1948, in New Albany, Indiana.

Brenda dedicated 40 years of her professional life to H&R Block as a Tax Preparer, where her unwavering commitment to her clients remained evident even after her retirement

Those who were fortunate to witness Brenda's spirit found her to be a woman with a heart full of love-not only for her family and friends but also for her beloved dog, Lucy. Brenda shared many joyful moments traveling the world, playing cards, and engaging in games with her family and friends. She also loved genealogy. She was an active member of her church community, partaking in Bible studies, bingo nights, and meals at the Knights of Columbus. Her faith enriched her life and served as a beacon of light for those around her.

Brenda was happiest when spending time with her friends and grandchildren. She never passed up a gift shop, the chance to dine out, or a spa day.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jetta (Jeff "Arty") Lillpop; son, Carl (Sharine) Shircliff; daughters, Ellen (Jason) Logsdon, and Rebecca (Andy Ingraham) Shircliff; sister, Barbara Robson; brothers, Tim (Terri) Babcock, Dale (Susan) Babcock; sister, Sara (Kenny) Deatrick; grandchildren, Justin (Amber) Lillpop, Blake (Jacob) Shircliff, Jackson (Casey) Logsdon, Kalynn (Henry) Hentrup, Maverick Shircliff, Elliott (Sydney) Logsdon, Noah Shircliff, Kally Lillpop; and great-grandchildren, Tristen, Braxton, Sloane, Hazel, and Rory. Brenda is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kathy Babcock; sister-in-law, Connie Shircliff; brother-in-law, Steve (Cheryl) Shircliff; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Charles "Greg" Shircliff; her parents, Walter F. and Mary Louise Babcock; brothers, Daniel "Fred," Glenn, and Bruce Babcock.

She was proud to be the oldest of eight siblings, a role she embraced with grace and warmth, fostering connections that spanned generations.
