Bacon,
Brasher, 91, of Clarksville passed away January 22, 2013. He was originally from Madisonville, KY, served in the US Army during WWII, graduated from Michigan State with a Bachelor's in Forestry, was proprietor of B.C. Bacon Hardwood Lumber Co., enjoyed singing with the Louisville Thoroughbred Chorus, served on the Board of Trustees at Floyd Memorial Hospital for eight years, B.C. was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, the American Legion and the VFW, as well as an avid outdoorsman and fisherman.
His survivors include his wife, Nadine Lambert Bacon; children Debi Minnich (Lewis Morris), Mark Lambert Bacon and Emily Marie Flowers (Richard); his grandchildren, Amanda, Alex (Brianne) and Aaron Minnich, Steven and John Scott Flowers.
Funeral services for B.C. will be privately held with burial in Madisonville, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Historical Society of Hopkins County, 107 Union St, Madisonville, KY 42431.
