Brandon Tevis, 15, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013. Brandon was a student at Our Lady of Providence High School in Clarksville and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Sellersburg.
Brandon was born on December 30th, 1997 in Jeffersonville, IN. He was the most wonderful surprise to a family who loves him wholeheartedly. Brandon enjoyed spending time with his family and playing ball with neighborhood friends. A faithful Catholic, Brandon loved being a Providence Pioneer. With his strong Christian spirit, he taught us the importance of accepting people for who they are and treating everyone as a friend.
He is survived by his parents, Roger and Debbie Tevis, Tera Tevis; siblings, Brittany Geswein (Nick), Chelsea Wild (Derek), Alexus Tevis, Cierra Nelson; cousins, Noah and Julian Geswein, Carter Wild; great grandfather, Bernard McCabe and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his great grandparents, Nadine McCabe, Harlan and Virginia Tevis; cousin, Brent Keeton.
His visitation will be from 12 to 8 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church (218 Schellers Avenue, Sellersburg, IN 47172) with burial to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Providence High School (707 Providence Way, Clarksville, IN 47129) or to St. Paul Catholic Church.
