Bonnie Jean Jaggers

Bonnie Jean (Kannapel) Jaggers, 73, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. She had been an employee at M. Fine & Sons and retired from Samtec in 2016 after 19 years of dedicated service.

She was born on May 25, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, to James and Mary (Snyder) Kannapel. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by her sister, Donna Duncan.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Don Jaggers; children, Sheila Vaughn (Tony), Joe Jaggers (Tammy), and Mary Hughley (James); grandchildren, Kayla Faith, Travis Neofes (Samantha), Gabrielle Jaggers, Eli Hughley, and Gavin Hughley; great-grandchildren, Carter and Blake Neofes; nieces, Tina Roberts and Christina Duncan; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Bonnie's wishes.
