Bonnie L. (Miller) Arnold Broadus, 81, of Greenville passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Bonnie was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Greenville, a member of the SilverToners, and a long-time member of Greenville United Methodist Church.
Bonnie was born on April 7, 1929 in Greenville to the late Charles Irvin and Olive V. (Boston) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James Leon Arnold and Ralph Broadus, and her son, Gary H. Arnold.
She is survived by her son, James "Jim" Arnold and his wife, Pam, of New Albany; daughter-in-law, Martha Arnold of Galena, Indiana; grandchildren, Drew Arnold and his wife, Sheri, of Louisville, Kentucky, Mike Arnold and his wife, Amanda, of Corydon, Indiana, Meredith Terry and her husband, Brad, of Sellersburg, Indiana, Michelle Sharp and her husband, Brian, of New Albany, Jeff Gary of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and Kim Benfield and her husband, Tim, of Miami, Florida; great-grandchildren, Anthony Arnold, Payton and Jackson Terry, and Ella Benfield; and siblings, Becky Puskas of New Albany, Pat Bullington and her husband, Dan, of Clarksville, Indiana, Fran Cadle and her husband, Sonny, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, Bobbie "Skip" Miller and his wife, Barbara, of Greenville, and Charles "Bud" Miller of English, Indiana.
Her visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, (formerly Generations Funeral Home) at 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. The Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 17 at Greenville United Methodist Church with private burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Greenville United Methodist Church (9449 Harrison Street, Greenville, IN 47124).
