Bonita Points

Bonita Points, 102, of Middletown, Kentucky passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 22, 1921 in Gary, Indiana to the late Eli and Mary Russell. Bonita was an active member of First Baptist Church of Middletown for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard.

Bonita is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Randall Points; her parents; her brother, Robert Russell; her sister, Marilyn Carter; and son-in-law, Robert Stewart.

She is survived by her children, Linda Stewart, Jeffery Points (Kate Clarke), and Mary Littrell (Tony); grandchildren, Sarah Powell (Kenneth), Andrew Littrell (Julie), Shawna Gilbert (Charles), Scott Stewart (Susan), Weldon Steiner, and Jeanette Jones; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Russell; niece, Jenny Wilson; nephews, David and Alan Carter; and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Middletown (11721 Main Street, Middletown, KY 40243). Her funeral service will be at 1:00 PM that day at the church with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
