Bobby Gene May, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022.
He was born on October 16, 1938 in Willisburg, Kentucky to the late Barnett May and Evelyn May Deakins.
Bobby was a loyal and loving family man. He was a member of Ralph Ave Baptist Church, where he served in multiple roles. Bobby was a dedicated life long fan of the UK Wildcats and an avid golfer.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley Alice May, daughter, Terrie Renee (Tom) Gibson, son, David (April) Lynch, grandchildren, Brandon Gibson, Vincent Lynch, and Grace Lynch, along with his brother, Dewayne (Trudy) May.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am on Monday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
