Bobby Ray Hickey

Bobby Ray Hickey, born on April 13, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 18, 2024,  in Louisville Ky. He was a dedicated public servant who served as a Clerk in the Hall of Justice, where he made a significant impact through his commitment to his work and the community.

A proud graduate of Shawnee High School, Bobby exemplified the values of education and perseverance throughout his life. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his warm and engaging personality. Bobby was a devoted brother, compassionate uncle, and a loyal friend, fostering deep connections with those around him.

Bobby’s interests were varied and included a love for reading, watching movies, and enjoying classic television shows. He often spent quality time with family and friends, and he cherished attending plays at the Kentucky Center, Actors Theatre and Derby Dinner Playhouse. His affinity for the theater was a testament to his enjoyment of the local culture and community.

Bobby is survived by his beloved sisters, Debbie Setaccioli and Shirley Hensley; his nephew, Nick Setaccioli; his great-nephew, Xavier Setaccioli; and his best friend, Richard Watkins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Hickey; his father, Virgle Hickey; and his nephew, Ryan Setaccioli.

Bobby Ray Hickey’s legacy of kindness and service will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
